I know haven’t blogged in a hot minute but I’m here now! I recently learnt about a well known anti-slavery speaker, who was a slave herself, by the name of Sojourner Truth (1797–1883). Here’s a video of her infamous speech ‘Ain’t I a Woman?’ delivered by the wonderful Kerry Washington. It’s a must-listen!
