Style Guide: Let the pockets hang!

I really like the shorts that let the inside part of the pockets show. I was trying to explain this look to my friend during a recent shopping trip but she said she hadn't seen it done before! So I thought I'd dedicate this post to denim shorts that let the inside pockets hang! lol

Crop that Top!

I so want to rock these tops this summer, they are so cute. And why is Ciara's stomach so fricking flat?! I'm going to make sure I don't eat nor drink anything too heavy when I step out in this...so that cancels out my beloved supermalt:( On a serious note though, I'm defo going to buy me one of these tops or D.I.M. (Do It Myself) with one of my old tops!





To execute this look properly, I can't stress this message enough...



If you can't see your toes when you look down then, not to be rude but, this look just isn't for you!

Style Guide: In with the Denim

It seems like denim jackets are making a comeback into the world of fashion and I am definitely loving it.

Yellow heels with denim skinny fits, hmm...I might have to do steal that look Cici! I'd most likely pair up my denim jacket with a nice skirt; I just need to go find my jacket!

Style Guide: Coral Coloured Clothing

I've noticed that shops are displaying coral coloured clothing and now I've found myself obsessed with the colour! I have a coral shirt, coral vest top, coral skirt, coral accessories, and I recently got this coral dress:


I'm going to calm down with this coral abuse before it gets out of hand but it's definitely going to be my favourite spring/summer colour:)









Oh and look at these shoes I tried on but didn't want to take off! It had a crocodile skin detail to it and they were high but that's the good part about being a shorty :p

I still love this video by Electrik Red; the colours are so pretty! This video is going to inspire my spring/summer look and bright colours always looks great in the sun:)

Style Guide: If it isn't baggy...I'm not happy!

There are days when I jump out of the shower and don't want to throw on tightly fitted garms; sometimes I just want to look cute in oversized, comfy clothes. Get my old school TLC/ Salt n Pepa/ Aaliyah swag on! Well, not quite like how they used to dress back in the day coz some of their combo was awful:o ...but more in terms of how outfits back then didn't have to be so sexed up...feel me?








I love oversized scarves, off the shoulder tops, t-shirts, jeans, trousers, hoodies, handbags so I can fit the whole world in 'em! Oh and oversized shirts that can be worn as a dress are so cool! If you want to look super duper fly in the baggy look, I'd say try not to wear too many oversized items at once! One or two at most oversized items will do this look justice, anything more than that will look like justice needs to be done!

Remember ladies, that wearing tightly fitted clothing that show off your bods is not the only way to look fly. I think that women feel pressured to show off their assets too much even if it means dressing uncomfortably; it's alright to say goodbye to the skinnies once in a while!!! Now let me see how many girls can still look fly in baggy clothes, huh, huh?!? :p

Style Guide: Shoes + Socks

Rihanna showed up at a recent award show sporting ankle socks and heels. What do we think about this look ladies?


One look that I do love is knee-high socks! I have knee high socks that I haven't worn in a hot minute...might have to get them out the drawer soon.
